All sour gas shift catalyst can be supplied in pre-sulfided state prepared by our Ex-Situ Pre-Sulfiding technology (KTRES), allowing an economical-efficient and simplified plant start-up operation by avoiding the use of flammable and toxic agents during the catalyst sulfidation stage. We are the sole developer and manufacturer in the world for the real sense of pre-sulfided sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalysts. The novel pre-sulfided catalysts have been installed and successfully operated in almost 30 large-scale coal-based chemical facilities.

As a cutting-edge company pushing the boundaries of catalysis technique, NovelC announced that it has launched the production line for its newly invented pre-reduced methanation catalyst (KC-501H). Our R&D team has debottlenecked the production problem and introduced the special reducing pre-treatment process so that the new generation of pre-reduced methanation catalyst (KC-501H) does not require catalyst activation process during the start-up stage. Approved by the evaluation experiments on the industrial facilities, KC-501H provides the top performance on the conversion rate and working life.
In May, 2017, the synthetic ammonia process with the production capacity of 500 thousand tonnes/year, owned by Guizhou Guiyang Chemical Co,. Ltd, achieved a successful start-up with the feedstock of pulverized coal. Our pre-sulfided sulfur-resistant shift catalysts, KC-102S and KC-103S, were installed into the 1st high-temperature and 1st low-temperature CO-shift converters, respectively. After 1 month’s operation, the specifications such as exit CO concentrations and pressure drop through catalyst bed were all within normal limits.
Located in the Nalin River Industrial Park, Wushen Banner, Inner Mongolia, China Coal Yuanxing Energy and Chemical is a joint venture of China Coal Energy and Inner Mongolia Yuanxing Energy. The methanol plant has the production capacity of 600 thousand tons/year, applying the coal water slurry gasification technology at 6.5 MPa(g).
