KC-103S

KC-103S is a sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalyst in the pre-sulfided state developed based on KC-103 catalyst. Its suitable operating conditions are listed as below:

  - Temperature: 200 - 520℃

  - Pressure: 1.0 – 10.0 MPa

  - Airspeed: 1000 - 6000 h-1 (dry gas base)

  - Water-gas ratio: 0.2 – 1.8

  - Sulfur content: ≥0.020%(V/V)

Product Introduction

KC-103S is a sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalyst in the pre-sulfided state developed based on KC-103 catalyst, with the carrier of magnesium aluminate spinel. Similar with KC-103, it is suitable for shift processes of treating sulfurous feed gas form heavy oil, residual oil, asphalt and coal. KC-103S is also featured in its wide applicable operating condition ranges such as temperature, sulfur content and water-gas ratio.

 

As same as all of our pre-sulfided catalysts, KC-103S is prepared by our KTRES ex-situ pre-sulfiding technology, which does NOT require special protections during packing, transportation and loading. No sulfidation stage is required during start-up, and process gas can be fed into the system once the reactor is heated up to the required inlet temperature under N2 flow.

 

Technical Features:

KC-103S has a number of extra technical advantages over KC-103.

  - Deep sulfidation provides higher catalytic activity and higher utilization of active components.

  - Simplified process start-up with significant reduced process startup time (by 2/3)

  - Less pollutions and simplified operations.

  - Reduced project investment, start-up costs and personal safety risks.

  - Easier operation for partial replacement of catalysts.
