Sulfur is an important chemical material, not only for producing sulfuric acid and preparing pesticide but also for manufacturing fine sulfur chemical products, such as carbon disulfide (CS₂), methyl mercaptan, etc. We have developed a range of sulfur recovery catalysts for efficiently converting H₂S from the exhaust gases of the Claus processes to sulfur, which is widely used in the coal chemical industry. This technology is essential to reduce pollution by eliminating H₂S emission to the environment, as well as improving economic performance by recovering chemical resource.
