As a catalyst manufacturer with a formidable reputation, Changyi Kaite has developed a very strong customer base in China with an extensive range of portfolios. In the catalyst industry, Changyi Kaite is well known for its pre-sulfide sour gas shift catalysts prepared by the ex-situ presulfiding and passivating technology. The newly invented catalysts have been installed and successfully operated in almost 30 coal based chemical facilities, among which 17 for methanol production (covering a total methanol production capacity of 16.7 million tons per year) and 15 for synthetic ammonia production (covering over 6 million tons of ammonia production capacity per year).
