KC-103S is a sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalyst in the pre-sulfided state developed based on KC-103 catalyst, with extra technical advantages.
KC-103 catalyst is a new generation of Co-Mo-based sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalyst, with its carrier of magnesium aluminate spinel, suitable for shift processes of treating sulfurous feed gas form heavy oil, residual oil, asphalt and coal. KC-103 is featured in its wide applicable operating condition ranges such as temperature, sulfur content and water-gas ratio.
KC-103 catalyst provides better overall performances than the similar catalysts at home and abroad, with its high mechanical strength stability and activity stability. The active components, Co and Mo, are in the form of oxides, which need to be sulfurized at the process start-up stage by using sulfur-containing process gas or sulfurizing reagent. KC-103 catalyst does not contain any alkali metal which can be harmful to the equipment or personnel. During the sulfurization stage, only a small amount of water will be produced and discharged along with the process gas without generating any harmful chemicals.
Technical Features:
- High mechanical strength and strength stability.
- High catalytic activity with excellent anti-hydrating capacity.
- Effective in adsorbing impurities and poisons in the feed gas including carbon black, tar and dust.
- High operating flexibility, with the adaptive capacity for high airspeed and wide water-gas ratio
- Long working life and renewable.
Working Conditions:
- Temperature: 200 - 520℃
- Pressure: 1.0 – 10.0 MPa
- Airspeed: 1000 - 6000h-1 (dry gas base)
- Water-gas ratio: 0.2 – 1.8
- Sulfur content: ≥0.020%(V/V)
