KC-106 is a sulfur-resistant shift catalyst with an additional function of arsenic removal, suitable for the shift processes of treating sulfurous feed gas form heavy oil, residual oil, asphalt and coal. With its special spinel carrier, KC-106 is prepared by impregnating active components and drying / calcinating additives. As well as showing great capability of arsenic desorption and adsorption, KC-106 catalyst provides a high shift conversion activity, tolerant for arsenic content up to 7% in the feed gas.
KC-106 catalyst is mainly used in the shift processes for the feed gas with high arsenic content, protecting the subsequent sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst from poisoning as well as reducing the shift conversion load.
