KC-103 catalyst is a sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalyst, featured in wide applicable operating condition ranges.
KC-102S is a sulfur-resistant CO-shift catalyst in the pre-sulfided state developed based on KC-102 catalyst, with its special carrier and new additives. Similar with KC-102, it is suitable for medium-pressure CO-shift processes of heavy oil, residual oil and coal. It also shows its great advantages in the low-temperature or low water-gas ratio shift processes of coal, in particular.
As same as all of our pre-sulfided catalysts, KC-102S is prepared by our KTRES ex-situ pre-sulfiding technology, which does NOT require special protections during packing, transportation and loading. No sulfidation stage is required during start-up, and process gas can be fed into the system once the reactor is heated up to the required inlet temperature under N2 flow.
Technical Features:
KC-102S has a number of extra technical advantages over KC-102.
- Deep sulfidation provides higher catalytic activity and higher utilization of active components.
- Simplified process start-up with significant reduced process startup time (by 2/3)
- Less pollutions and simplified operations.
- Reduced project investment, start-up costs and personal safety risks.
- Easier operation for partial replacement of catalysts.
Working Conditions:
- Temperature: 180 - 480℃
- Pressure: 1.0 – 5.0 MPa
- Airspeed: 1000 - 6500 h-1 (dry gas base)
- Water-gas ratio: 0.1 – 1.0
- Sulfur content: ≥0.005%(V/V) at low water-gas ratio
